SRI LANKA DISCOVERY

Assemble at Terminal 1 – KLIA at 5.30am.

Departure to Colombo: UL 319                 0850/0945 hrs (Sri Lankan Airlines)

You will be met on arrival at the airport. Proceed to the southern town of Galle.  Check into hotel. After lunch – proceed on a sightseeing tour – covers: The World Heritage site Dutch Fort and Rumassala the piece of Sanjeewani mountain.  Return to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Unawatuna.

Early morning (OPTIONAL) proceed to Jetty. Take a Boat and proceed on a Whale & Dolphins watching (FOR THOSE INTERESTED).  Return to Hotel late morning. Freshen up and departure to Kataragama. On arrival check into the hotel. Afternoon visit the Kadiramalai, Sella Kataragama and attend the evening puja ceremony at the main Murugan Temple in Kataragama. Overnight in Kataragama

Leave for Nuwara Eliya after breakfast. En route stop at Elle for a view of Rawana Waterfalls , Little Adam’s peak and Nine Arch Bridge. Check into the hotel in Nuwara Eliya . Afternoon visit the Seetha Amman Temple , Gayathri Peetham followed by sightseeing tour in Nuwara Eliya. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

Morning departure for Kandy. En route visit the Baktha Hanuman Temple, Ashoka Vathika , Ramboda Waterfalls, a tea factory, Arthur’s seat viewpoint , Gem Museum and Sacred Temple of The Tooth of Buddha . On arrival in Polonnaruwa check into the hotel. Overnight in Polonnaruwa.

Leave for Trincomalee after breakfast. Afternoon attend the service ceremony at the Koneshwaram Temple , Shakthi Peetham ( Shankari Devi Temple) and Chola Period Kovil in Trincomalee.  Evening departure to Anuradhapura. En route visit the Kanniya Hot Springs. Check into the hotel in Anuradhapura. Overnight in Anuradhapura.

Leave for Ketheeswaram Temple early morning. En route visit the 2300 years old Maha Bodhi in Anuradhapura and Madhu Matha Church. Attend the Puja ceremony at the” Thiruketheeswaram “ Temple.  Afternoon departure to Jaffna. On arrival check into the hotel.  Overnight in Jaffna.

Morning leave for Nainativu and visit the Nagapooshani Amman Temple. We will have to drive through Pugundativu. Take a Ferry Boat to the temple.  Afternoon visit the Naguleswaram , Keerimalai and Durga Amman Temple in Tellipillai. Dinner and overnight stay at Tilko Jaffna Hotel.

After breakfast leave for point Pedro . En route visit the Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil and Sella Sennadi Temple. Lunch n Point Pedro . Visit the most northern point in Sri Lanka . Afternoon visit the Jaffna archeological museum , Yogi Swami Samadhi and Jaffna Dutch Fort. Dinner today at a local village Jaffna family house. Overnight in Jaffna.

Leave for Colombo after breakfast. En route visit the Siva Boomi Museum and Temple, Muneshwaram Temple in Chilaw. On arrival check into the hotel.  Overnight in Colombo.

Morning sightseeing tour in Colombo . Afternoon free time for the last-minute shopping.

Early morning departure to the airport ( with packed breakfast) to board your Sri Lankan Airlines flight back to Kuala Lumpur: UL 314                 0735/ 1345 hrs.
