ENCHANTING KASHMIR

Enchanting Kashmir: A 10-Day Expedition from 10th to 19th April 2024

This adventure unfolds like a magnificent tapestry, weaving together the cultural richness, natural splendor, and historical depth of the region.

Amritsar, our first stop, is a city that resonates with history and spirituality. The Golden Temple, an architectural marvel and the spiritual heart of Sikhism, exudes an aura of serenity. The daily langar, a communal meal, is a heartwarming experience, where all are welcome to share a meal together. As the sun sets, the energy at the Wagah Border ceremony is electrifying, igniting a patriotic fervor that is truly moving.

Gulmarg, nestled amidst the majestic Himalayas, beckons with its pristine landscapes. The Gulmarg Gondola, one of the highest cable cars in the world, provides a breathtaking vantage point to absorb the grandeur of the mountains. Winter sports enthusiasts will find their paradise here, with opportunities for skiing and snow adventures. But even if you’re not an adventurer, the tranquil beauty of Gulmarg will leave an indelible mark on your soul.

Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, is next on our journey. Here, the iconic Dal Lake welcomes you to a world of houseboats and shikara rides. The Mughal gardens, adorned with vibrant blooms and intricate landscaping, offer a glimpse into the opulence of the past. Srinagar’s culinary delights, especially the aromatic and flavorful Kashmiri cuisine, will leave your taste buds dancing with joy.

Pahalgam, a scenic drive away, is a place of pure enchantment. Surrounded by alpine forests and meadows, it’s a nature lover’s paradise. Betaab Valley, with its idyllic charm, is named after the Bollywood film “Betaab” for a reason. Leisurely walks along the Lidder River and the embrace of the natural beauty will help you unwind and rejuvenate.

The grand finale of our journey takes place in Delhi, a bustling metropolis where history and modernity collide. The Red Fort, Qutub Minar, and India Gate are timeless testaments to India’s past, while the vibrant bazaars of Old Delhi are a whirlwind of colors, flavors, and experiences. You’ll savor local street food, a true reflection of India’s culinary diversity.
