Description
Departure to Colombo by Sri Lanka Airlines: UL 315 – 1445/ 1540 hrs. You will be met on arrival at the airport. From airport – proceed to Kataragama. En route, brief visit the Dutch Fort in Galle. On arrival check into hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Magampura Resort, Kataragama.
Morning attend the service ceremony at the Main Murugan Temple and visit the Kadiramalai. After breakfast, leave for Nuwara Eliya. En route visit the Sella Kataragama Pillaiyar Temple, Rawana Waterfalls, Nine Arch Bridge and Seetha Amman Temple. Dinner and overnight stay at ” Daffodils Hotel”, Nuwara Eliya.
Leave for Kandy after breakfast. En route, visit the Ramboda waterfalls , Baktha Hanuman Temple in Ashoka Vatika and Gem Museum. Check into Queens Hotel, Kandy. Afternoon watch the Kandyan Cultural Show and attend the evening puja ceremony at the ” Sacred Temple Of The Tooth Of Buddha. Dinner and overnight stay at ” Queens Hotel”, Kandy.
Leave for Trincomalee after breakfast. En route, stop to take photos of Sigiriya (distant view). In Trincomalee you will visit the Koneshwaram Temple, Shakthi Peetham (Shankari Devi Temple ) , Swami Rock in Fort Frederick and the Hot Springs in Kanniya. Dinner and overnight stay at ” Pigeon Island Resort in Trincomalee”.
Leave for Katheeshwaram after breakfast. En route, visit the Madhu Matha Church. Attend the Theertham and the ceremony. Visit the Mannar Island and visit the Talei Mannar which is the closest point to Danushkodi in India. Reach Jaffna in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at ” Tilko Hotel”, Jaffna.
Today’s visits include: Nainathivu island to visit the Naga Pooshani Amman Temple, Naguleswaran-e Keeramalei, Durga Amman temple and Kandarodai Pre christian ruins of early settlements. Dinner and overnight stay at Tilko Hotel, Jaffna.
Todays visits include: Nallur Temple, Point Pedro – the most northern point in the country, Sangili Thoppu, Mantree Mannam, Sella Sennedi temple and Nilavarai Bottomless well. Dinner and overnight stay at ” Tilko hotel”, Jaffna.
Morning visit the Jaffna Fort, Museum , Library , Yoga Swami, samadhi and Siva Bhoomi Museum. Free and relaxing afternoon for shopping, etc. Dinner and overnight stay at ” Tilko Hotel”, Jaffna.
This morning after breakfast, leave for Colombo. En route, visit Maha Bodhi tree at Anuradhapura and Muneshwaram Temple. On arrival check into hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Colombo.
Morning brief sightseeing in Colombo + some time for shopping. Overnight in Colombo.
